2022 Olympic hopefuls....

Some phrases of the day....

"I never gonna take these off!" Xander about his boots at the rental shop

"I am soooooo good, I know!"

"Uncle Ross, that JUNK for your body" (diet pepsi)

"I NEED POLES LIKE YOU"

"I can't do pizza"

"look french fries" Barrett's favorite line of the day leaving us in the dust

"I need a cocoa break"

"I love the rides....my favorite is chair ride!"

"slow down chair" to the lift operator

"aaaahhhhh yeaaaahhh"

"can I go fast yet?"

"why I have to wait for brother? I go now!"

"why is snow squeaking?"

"I no need no poles"

"I keep my boots?"...no..."my skis??" ...sorry, no..."but I LOVE them"

"can we come every day?"

"when do we go again?"

and finally......"next time, I go alllll by myself!"

We had so much fun sharing one of our favorite addictions/past times with the twins (Barrett and Alexander) for their Birthdays! It took some patience and tough love (taking away those poles). As well as some serious talk about big pizza, small pizza, ( a visual aid or two) as well as french fries how they make you go fast and slow. We made it, had a blast and can't wait to do it again! Happy 5th Birthday Barrett and Alexander!!

Just a little catch up....

Well....with Ross's move over to Delta, we
have kind of neglected the blog....sorry to
those of you that still check it! Ross has
been commuting between Salt Lake City
and Atlanta, still currently in training
with Delta. Hopefully that wraps up soon
and he can get back flying around the
country! I have been splitting my time
between SkyWest and working at home.
Just thought I'd replace the old pics with
a few new (ish) ones of what we have been
up to!

Ross's last day at SkyWest.....

Thank you to the Watson's and Kisser for
coming to celebrate Ross's departure to
Atlanta with us!! Somehow we only ended
up with pictures of the cake.....

Signs of spring at our house.....

goodbye snow......slowly slowly, not nearly
soon enough.......

goodbye snow tires......a little early, We
have had a few scary rides to Salt Lake in
some pretty snowy conditions!

but it sure looks better.....

the never ending summer chore of yard
work begins, it is amazing what you find
under the snow...

and the truck finally shows itself after a
long cold winter and a trip to the shop
(to reset a sensor due to a LOW BATTERY....)
haha.....maybe we should drive it more.....
or not...... :)

I know I always say I'm going to be better
about blogging......so I say it again :) No
promises, but I'll try!!

Moving on.....CONGRATULATIONS ROSS!!!

Ok ok.....for those of you that saw my last blog, you guessed it......Ross is headed to Delta! The past 3 weeks have been some VERY long weeks as Ross studied and prepared for his Delta interview (which is not so much an interview as it is a test....on everything airplanes, as well as you). Last Sunday night we were lucky enough to get a few middle seats on the red-eye flight out to Atlanta, no sleep for us that night.....or any night thereafter for the Ross!

Why the lack of sleep.....call it nerves, or maybe the flu? Who knows.....I bailed out on Tuesday morning (sick) and headed back home. Ross convinced his body it was nerves and the interviewers that he was their guy. We are now waiting to hear that they feel he is healthy and sane (yes he had a physical and met with a psych too)......at which point we will find out when Ross will be headed to train in Atlanta. Stay tuned, first day of class we will find out if we get to stay in our little paradise of Park City or if Delta will be taking us on a journey elsewhere..........
